This interactive webinar will walk you through the third edition of RNAO's best practice guideline (BPG) Preventing Falls and Reducing Injury from Falls (2017) and associated resources in the LTC Toolkit.

The new BPG includes evidence-based practices, strategies, evaluation measures, and guidance to develop policies and procedures to help prevent falls in the LTC sector.

A speaker from Osteoporosis Canada will be presenting along with a Pharmacist, an Occupational Therapist and a Registered Dietitian.

CLHIN Fall Prevention Strategy Roundtable (Edithvale Community Centre, 131 Finch Ave W, North York, ON M2N 2H8)

The Fall Prevention Strategy Committee from the Central LHIN will be hosting a roundtable event to discuss the findings of the Fall Prevention Programs and Services Preliminary Gap Analysis and to seek input to help guide the Committee in creating an integrated CLHIN-wide Fall Prevention Strategy. To facilitate access, one roundtable event is being held in a central location in each of the three CLHIN Public Health Unit areas (Toronto, York Region, South Simcoe). Registration is required.
