This interactive webinar will walk you through the third edition of RNAO's best practice guideline (BPG) Preventing Falls and Reducing Injury from Falls (2017) and associated resources in the LTC Toolkit.
The new BPG includes evidence-based practices, strategies, evaluation measures, and guidance to develop policies and procedures to help prevent falls in the LTC sector.
Falls prevention initiative run by an Occupational Therapist, Boosting Balance & Bone Health, is a 4-week program to learn about how you can improve your balance and strength, and maintain your independence. A speaker from Osteoporosis Canada will be presenting along with a Pharmacist, an Occupational Therapist and a Registered Dietitian.Event Details

The Fall Prevention Strategy Committee from the Central LHIN will be hosting a roundtable event to discuss the findings of the Fall Prevention Programs and Services Preliminary Gap Analysis and to seek input to help guide the Committee in creating an integrated CLHIN-wide Fall Prevention Strategy.
